I have been an artist for my entire life.  I have developed a particular love for oil paints and over the years have painted many different subjects.  As the kids are now all grown and gone, we now have three rescue dogs in their stead.  My sons affectionately call me "the crazy dog lady".  Inspired by my love of dogs, I have used my painting skills to capture their spirits on canvas in oils.  Not only do I strive for a likeness, but there is also something so beseeching and loving in a dog's gaze that it is this I try to convey in my work.
